International Economic Council
Special Assistant to
the President and Senior Director
The International Economic Affairs office advises and assists the
President and the National Security Advisor on all aspects of U.S.
foreign policy with respect to U.S. international economic policies.
Among the issues the office provides advice and assistance to the
President on are the World Trade Organization,
regional trade initiatives in Asia and Latin America and bilateral
trade and investment issues.
